About CACM-2026

Carbon materials have long been pivotal to technological advancement-ranging from classical forms like graphite, carbon black, and activated carbon, used extensively in metallurgy, rubber reinforcement, and filtration,  to today’s cutting-edge materials such as carbon fibers, nanotubes, graphene, and quantum dots etc. The Conference on Advanced Carbon Materials (CACM-2026), a flagship event jointly organized by the Hyderabad Chapter of the Indian Carbon Society, ARCI and BITS, holds immense national implication. It brings together leading scientists, technologists, and industry experts in carbon science and engineering in Hyderabad, a city emerging as a vital hub for aerospace, defense, electronics, and clean energy. The conference aims to foster collaboration across academia, industry, and research institutions; showcase transformative innovations; and to address strategic and national priorities in advanced carbon materials development. The Hyderabad Chapter of ICS, along with ARCI and BITS, is delighted to invite you to participate in this prestigious gathering. CACM-2026 serves as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the promotion of innovations in carbon-based technologies. Aligned with the vision of the Viksit Bharat Mission, the conference aims to catalyze research, foster industry-academia collaboration, and reinforce India’s global leadership in advanced carbon science and sustainable technologies.
