Centre for Information Technology Services

The Centre for Information Technology Services (CITS) operates and maintains IT infrastructure. The Centre also provides technical support for the ERP software and related services. The CITS is developing customized ERP modules to meet the specific needs of ARCI's administrative, management, R&D, and Technical Centers. These modules are designed to provide a comprehensive suite of tools for managing the various aspects of the organization, including financials, human resources, inventory, and project management. The CITS has established a state-of-art Data Centre facility with the latest technologies and is designed to provide a secure and reliable environment for data storage and processing. The Data Centre is equipped with high-end servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other related hardware. It also provides a secure environment for data backup and recovery. CITS is responsible for administering email and internet services in an effective and efficient manner. CITS also works to ensure that users have the best possible experience when using IT services.


CTAT

Centre for Technology Acquisition and Transfer

The Centre for Technology Acquisition and Transfer (CTAT) has been set up to catalyze ARCI's effort to make nationally unique advanced materials technologies available to Indian companies. CTAT works towards strengthening of technology value chain by contributing in the following areas:Identifying possible collaborators for all activities ranging from co-development to technology transferUnderstanding competing technologies and preparing techno commercial feasibility analysis reportFormalizing Agreements and Contracts to effect alliances in science and technology value-chain

Electrical, Electronics & Civil Maintenance Centre

 Looking after the AMC of Telephone works and complaints, Stabilizers and UPSLooking after the AMC for APC, Emerson and DB Power make UPSIn-house maintenance of UPS below 1kVA.Impart training to fresh Graduates in all aspects of electronics, as relevant to the activities of ARCI.Render guidance to B Tech graduate students from local Universities for carrying out their experimental project work, without affecting our normal duties.Render assistance to parties who have received technologies and equipment, developed at ARCI.


PM-IPR

Project Monitoring and Intellectual Property Rights

ARCI is a research and development organization focused on generating new knowledge and creating innovative solutions across various fields of advanced materials and processing technologies. This research is protected by globally known assets called Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). The Project Monitoring and Intellectual Property Rights (PM-IPR) Cell at ARCI is dedicated to effectively monitoring and overseeing both the organization's various projects and its IPRs.


TIC

Technical Information Centre

Technical Information Centre (TIC) is an invaluable source of information for Scientists, Research Scholars and Student community of ARCI. It plays a vital role in acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge in the thrust areas of ARCI. It has a specialized collection in the core areas of ARCI such as Engineered Coatings, Ceramics, Nanomaterials, Laser Processing of Materials, Alternate energy and Automotive energy materials. It has a fair collection of both print and online resources including books, journals, standards, conference proceedings, etc. It subscribes to over 50 print journals published across the globe. It has access to over 3000 e-journals from several international publishers. TIC is fully automated using an in- house developed library management software. Its online public access catalogue (OPAC) is amenable to search on the Centre's Local Area Network (LAN).
