HRD plays a vital role in the recruitment process for ARCI. It inducts the best talented candidates with strong zeal and motivation to pursue innovative research and to contribute to ARCI's various projects/major programmes. Depending on requirements, the following modes of recruitment are carried out by HRD.
Direct Recruitment: On the availability of vacant posts, through open advertisements, candidates are recruited at various levels.
Recruitment for Sponsored Projects: HRD also manages the recruitment of Scientific/Technical manpower for sponsored projects. All long-term project recruitments are conducted through open advertisements on a contractual basis.

Summer Internship Program
About 60 students every year during summer vacations from May to June end for a period of minimum 45 days to maximum 60 days..

Student Projects
B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. or M.E./M.Tech./M.S. students are granted permission to carry-out final year project work for a duration of minimum 3 months to maximum 12 months.

Research Fellow Scheme
Under the Research Fellowship Programme, ARCI has signed MoUs with Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Technology-Madras to institute a few ARCI Fellowships for Ph.D. research scholars.

Trainings
ARCI imparts training to fresh post graduate, graduate and diploma students for a fixed period of one year with an attractive monthly stipend.
