Introduction
At the International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), the GOCO Model provides a structured framework for industry to access and utilise world-class scientific and technological infrastructure. The model enables organisations to leverage existing national-level R&D facilities through a transparent, cost-effective engagement between ARCI and participating companies.This will support Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives of the Govt. of India.

Operating Framework
Companies may operate ARCI facilities under direct ARCI supervision at all times.
All operations must strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by ARCI.
In the event of equipment damage during usage, repair costs will be borne by the company based on a technical assessment by ARCI.
Engagement Process
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Signing
Both parties execute a mutual NDA to protect proprietary information prior to any engagement.
Submission of Application Form
Company submits a completed application form in the ARCI prescribed format, detailing the proposed usage plan.
Technical & Cost Evaluation
ARCI's costing committee reviews the application, assesses technical feasibility, and determines pricing.
Invoice Issuance
A formal invoice is raised based on the approved facility usage plan and agreed commercial terms.
Advance Payment (50%)
A 50% advance payment is required to initiate facility access and begin project execution.
Project Execution / Facility Usage
The company's team operates the designated facilities under continuous ARCI supervision and in accordance with applicable SOPs.
Final Payment Settlement
Balance payment settled before project completion / upon delivery of the agreed work output.
