The Project Monitoring and Intellectual Property Rights (PM-IPR) Cell at ARCI is dedicated to effectively monitoring and overseeing both the organization's various projects and its IPRs.. The functions of PM-IPR Cell are:

- Facilitating the processing of projects proposals to funding agencies.
- Monitoring technical progress of projects
- Creating and maintaining a database of projects.
- Perform IP Analytics to/for
- Support research and technology development activities.
- Assessing the project ideas in terms of patentability, novelty of scientific developments.
- Ensure that appropriate information is readily available for decision-making and strategic planning of the organization.
- Creating awareness on IPRs and its policies.
- Liaisoning for prompt IP management between inventors, and co-patentees (government agencies, industries and academia).
- Performance Reporting to various ministries and stake holders.
- Cell also facilitates the channelized execution of workflow in Projects Monitoring, IPRs Management and Performance Reporting to meet the organization mandate.
