  • This project focuses on developing a self-powered gas sensing system by integrating triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) with gas-sensitive materials. It aims to overcome the  limitations of conventional sensors that depend on external power sources, thereby enhancing portability and implantability. By utilizing TENGs, the system can harvest mechanical energy 
  • from environmental sources like wind or motion. The integration of sensing and power 
  • modules into a single compact unit reduces complexity and cost. Ultimately, the project 
  • targets the creation of efficient, sustainable, and multifunctional gas sensors for next-
  • generation environmental monitoring applications.
