Nanosilver-candle filter technology has been successfully transferred to a company and the product is in the market with the brand name of PURITECH. The product was field tested for an year in about 40 villages for drinking water disinfection and has been tested in the laboratory as per IS and EPA guidelines. The company has set-up a plant in Hyderabad with a production capacity of 1000 candles per day.

Establishment of a new laser processing system based on a 6-kW Fiber-Coupled Diode Laser integrated with a 6-axis robot and turn-tilt table
A new generation fuel cell stack with reduced humidity requirements has been developed. A 1.2 kW stack developed with the new design has been successfully integrated in an electric car (REVA). The EV has run about 600 KMs in fuel cell mode.
