Qualification - PhD Physics (Osmania, 1992); (High TC Superconductors) MSc Physics (University of Hyderabad, 1987)

Current Research Interests - Structure-property correlations; electron microscopy (EBSD, FIB milling), mechanical properties of surfaces. Other areas of experience include synthesis and characterization of technical ceramics, study of magnetic, transport and structural properties and electron spin resonance spectroscopy.

Qualification - BTech in Metallurgical Engineering, REC, Warangal MTech in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, IIT, Kanpur. Currently carrying out PhD on “Structure and properties of thermal sprayed cermets coatings”, as an external student, IIT, Kanpur

Experience: - Five years of research experience in thermal spray coating deposition and evaluation of coating microstructure and properties (mechanical, interfacial as well as tribological). Experience also in various characterization techniques including SEM and TEM.

Name - Ramakrishna Mantripragada

Qualification - ME Metallurgy (Indian Institute of Science, 2006), B Tech Metallurgy (NIT Warangal, 2004)

Current Research Activities: - Catering to the Centre’s electron microscopy and instrumentation indentation needs using TEM, EBSD and nano-indenter.

Name - G Venkata Ramana Reddy

Designation - Technical Officer ‘B’

Qualification - BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Osmania University.

Experience: - Ten years of experience on SEM and EDS systems. Analysis of different materials including metals, ceramics and cermets in bulk and coatings, as well as biological samples.
